Your Testimony is Needed
The Massachusetts legislature needs to hear from us! They're holding a hearing on the State's COVID distribution plans.
Tell the Joint Committee:
- Individuals with Type 1 Diabetes are at as much risk, if not higher, as people with Type 2 Diabetes for complications due to COVID.
- Denying the science puts an estimated 35,000 of the 680,771 adults with diabetes in MA receiving their vaccine later than others with the same risks.
- We have fallen behind 22 other states including the surrounding states of NH, RI, Vermont, and NY. Additional states include Alabama, Mississippi, Nebraska, Wyoming, California, Kansas, Illinois, Maryland, and Virginia.
- Include supporting data studies
